The Office Party Prize Giveaway

Jane knew that she was going to go to the party even if her husband did not. The problem was that if he did not go she would be the only one there without a date. That would be quite embarrassing for her and she did not want that to happen again after her last party when she was the only one that went with a date. So she walked into the bedroom and decided to drag him out of bed promising that this would be the last time she would do this to him.

Jame decided to go ahead and wake up from the nap that he was faking and started to get dressed. He was not looking forward to the party because the last time he had decked her boss because of the comments that he had made about her. That led to Jane barely being able to maintain her job and that was only because she had begged to keep her job.

As they walked out the door Jane turned and ran back to the bedroom. She had almost forgotten that she told everyone that she would be bringing her pearl izumi shorts. Those shorts had cost her a fortune and her husband had barely forgiven her for spending so much money on that item as it is.

James was standing next to the bar the entire night drinking the free beers that the boss had purchased. James knew that the party would start moving along faster with the more beers that he got into him.

Then Jane’s boss came over to him and said they were going to do something they had never done before. They were going to give away a mongoose mountain bike. James jaw about hit the floor when he heard all of the features that it had on it. The bike was one that he had dreamed of owning for years and here it was going to be close to his grasp.

The problem was he would have to win the prize in the raffle. His luck was not that good that night for that bike, but then the boss said the runner up prize of some diamondback bikes would be going to them! James was never happier knowing that finally the party had paid off and that he had an item that he had been drooling over for a while.

James and Jane left the party a little bit later, but instead of hailing the taxis that would charge them money to get home they hopped onto their bikes. They knew those bikes would take them home and then back to work for a long time to come.
