NCAA Championship Game 2010 | Who Will Win?
Duke vs. Butler and UConn vs. Stanford are at the forefront of basketball fans’ minds as the NCAA Championship game 2010 is here. The women’s championship is a highly anticipated event as well, making it proper to say games. Will the University of Connecticut Huskies (38-0) extend their winning streak to a massive 78 games? Will Stanford (36-1) have even the slightest chance again the juggernaut? Some people are hoping that an upset will be made with the Men considering the Duke (34-5) vs. Butler (33-4) matchup. It is expected in both cases for Goliath to win – Duke for the men and UConn for the women.

What to watch – Duke vs. Butler
Butler will want to pressure Duke out of their comfort zone with suffocating defense and wild scrapping on the board. Scoring the ball will require that Matt Howard, Shelvin Mack and Gordon Heyward – who the Kansas City Star points out take three-quarters of Butler’s shots – must be firing on all cylinders. Unfortunately for that team, Duke is a team that loves to defend on the perimeter. They also happen to be a great rebound team, which makes up for the outside game. Because Duke does such a great job with the ball, Butler’s defense of helter-skelter pressure defense will be sorely hurt.
UConn vs. Stanford – Can Connecticut lose?
Of course they can lose. Stanford did go 36-1 during the regular season, which means they’re a strong unit. However, UConn is definitely one of the more dominant team in 2010, in the NCAA Championship, and in any other year. Just like the popularity of payday loans, it isn’t a fluke they won 77 games in a row. They regularly blow out opponents by 20 to 30 points, led by the punishing post play of Tina Charles and Maya Moore and balanced scoring overall. Consider this: According to Bleacher Report, UConn has an average of 82.1 points per game within their 77 game winning streak while allowing only 46.1 points per game. Stanford will need a serious miracle to win.
